Today we will review a power bank which is getting very popular day by day. Main reason for its popularity is its low price and features. We are talking about Ambrane P-1111 10000 mah power bank.

Ambrane is well known Indian based company. Besides power banks, Ambrane also sells tablets, speakers, mobile accessories and smartwatch. But it seems that Ambrane primary focus is to be on top in Power Bank market. Due to low prices and bigger battery size, Ambrane is taking over the power bank market In India.

Ambrane P-1111 10000 mah Power Bank Review: Battery Quality

Firstly check the central component of any power bank i.e. battery. This power bank has 10000 Mah Lithium-ion battery. Battery comes in a protective circuit that increases its lifespan. The company claims about 75% efficiency. Actual efficiency may be slightly down.

It can easily provide about 7000 mah useful output power to mobile. For example, it can charge a mobile with 2300 mah battery three times completely. After that, you have to recharge the power bank.

Ambrane P-1111 Power Bank Charging and Discharging Rate

Ambrane P-1111 power bank has 1 input port and dual output ports. One output port is rated at 1A current and second one at 2A current. You can charge two devices simultaneously with it. It supports almost all multimedia devices such as tablets, mobiles, iPods etc.

Ambrane power bank takes around 12 to 13 hours to charge completely by a standard mobile charger. In sales package, you will also get 1 USB charging cable and user manual.

Ambrane 10000 mah Power Bank Design and Looks Review

Ambrane P-1111 power bank black

Ambrane P-1111 has 300 grams weight. It is available in 2 color variants turquoise blue and jet black. If you ask me to choose one I will go with blue color. Blue model has one side blue and other white. This color combination makes it eye catching device.

It also has a 1 watt LED torch. But I don’t understand what is the need of this light in the power bank. If you are buying a power bank, it is obvious that you have a smartphone. Smartphones already have a flash which can be used to light during dark.

Pros

  • Cheaper than other 10000 mah power banks.
  • 1-year manufacturer warranty.
  • Ambrane is well setup power bank brand.
  • Different types of circuit protection.

Cons

  • A little bit bulky ( 300 grams ).
  • Efficiency is somewhat less as compared to other power banks.

Final Verdict

Some people will tell Ambrane a new brand. Some will say it a cheaper brand. Your friends and family members might suggest you to go for big names. It might be because they haven’t tested Ambrane power banks. Ambrane P-1111 is among the five best power banks that are available in India in 2016.

Ambrane is not a cheap third class company. They are providing good quality power banks at a low price to compete in the market. Once they will setup their name in the market, they will also increase their power bank price.

All well-established brands sell their products at very high prices. But people still buy them because they trust them. But here the case is opposite to it. You are getting a good power bank at a low price. You have to trust Ambrane, and I am sure Ambrane P-1111 10000 mah power bank will stand on your expectations.

Lets take a little example. Usually a mobile with 3000Mah battery takes upto 2 hours to charge completely.

So to charge a power bank with 10000mah battery with same charger, it will take upto 3times the time taken by mobile.

You have to charge powerbank depending on their battery size.

Hi, I bought AMBRANE 10000MAH POWER BANK (1 year warranty) today through online shopping and in user manual there was a instruction/ steps given to send text message to 56070 by typing “AMB>spacespace<customer name" for warranty registration. I sent a message as per the instruction and then received a reply saying "this keyword has been expired".

Does it mean that the supplier has delivered the out dated product ? I'm now worried. Can someone tell me how to take it forward ?
